Calcium supplements are very widely used. Most supplements need to be dissolved in water or chewed and have an artificial orange or lemon flavour. This is not a problem in the short term. In the long term, however, too many people stop taking these calcium supplements simply because they “can’t stand” the flavour any longer.
The only solution to this (insurmountable) problem is to take away the bad flavour by offering calcium as unflavoured swallowable tablets. The swallowable tablet should not be too large and must be easy to swallow, but it must also contain a sufficient dose (at least 500 mg of calcium) per tablet.
VISTA-Cal D meets all of these requirements!
The tablets have been kept as small as possible, and are also coated with a smooth layer of film that makes them easy to swallow. Simply swallow the tablet with liquid or a small amount of food.
This situation can occur in the following cases:
- In women, a calcium and vitamin D supplement is almost always needed from the start of the menopause to maintain strong bones.
- In older people, both men and women, who do not spend much time outdoors, the lack of sunlight reduces vitamin D reserves. They also need a higher calcium intake.
- In periods of strong bone growth such as in adolescents, or particularly if milk and cheese intake is low.
- A higher intake is also needed during pregnancy.

VISTA-Cal D contains no sugar, no sweetener, no salt, no gluten, and no genetically modified products. Vista-Cal D is kosher.
VISTA-Cal D also contains an acidity regulator, which improves disintegration in the stomach and calcium absorption through the formation of calcium citrate.

1 tablet per day. People aged over 60 and people who consume few or no dairy products are advised to take 2 tablets per day.
Doctors or pharmacists can adjust the dosage based on average daily consumption of dairy products.
The tablets can be taken with or without food.
At what time of day?
VISTA-Cal can be taken at any time of day, preferably during a meal.
How long?
Older people and women in or around the menopause are advised to take VISTA-Cal D over a longer period.
